Copper Vine is such a good spot downtown for bites and drinks. I absolutely love the beef tartare, bacon wrapped dates, and cheese plate! They also have a great wine list. The restaurant is pretty big, so you could probably get a table for a small group by walking in, but I would still suggest making a reservation if you can.

Except for the service, Copper Vine would be an easy "5 Stars". It was the curb appeal that drew me in. I walked past about a half-dozen times going to and from my hotel and it seemed like a great spot to treat myself to a Birthday Dinner. The patio area, visible from the sidewalk, is beautiful and inviting. Since it is still a bit warm in the Crescent City this time of year, I opted for indoor seating. The Happy Hour Menu is excellent. (Unfortunately, I had to ask for it, since it was not provided.) I had the Wine Flight and the Marinated Olives, and they were excellent. I also tried the Peach Tea Punch, which is not something I would normally order. It was very light and refreshing, and not overly sweet. I followed this up with the Bacon Wrapped Dates. These were amazing! The only issue I had was they were served in an odd number. As delicious as they are, this could be cause for a brawl amongst friends or a dinner-centered divorce! LOL. My entree choice was the Short Rib Ragu and Pappardelle. I cannot overstate how delicious it was. Very generous portions and incredibly delicious. It was well accompanied by the house Malbec. The only shortcoming of the night was the service. My server was very disinterested. He never provided any input or suggestions on the menu. There were long periods of empty plates and glasses where I never saw him. Other servers attempted to deliver to me an entree I did not order (Filet Mignon...it looked and smelled amazing) and a McAllen (neat, just like I like it) that I did not order. If not for the service, this would have been a Five Star dinner, and perhaps my server was just having a bad night. Other reviews I have read tonight indicate that the service is normally excellent. If you find yourself in the CBD of New Orleans and looking for a great dinner, I suggest you visit the Copper Vine. I doubt you will leave disappointed.

This restaurant is incredible. The design is so beautiful yet simple and the staff is so kind. We were able to get a party of 8 in last minute on a Saturday night (although I wouldn't recommend trying this, because the restaurant was packed). The espresso martini was one of the best I've ever had, and the rest of the cocktails matched. The food was fairly priced for the quality, and there was a great selection of New Orleans classics and twists. The short rib ragu was so tender, it nearly fell apart. It was so delicious I wanted to order a second one to go.

I love this place! Dillon was a great server and the ambiance is just beautiful, like sitting in a tropical garden! The food is great and the drinks are delicious. This is the third time I've been here and it has been wonderful every time. The happy hour is really hard to beat here too! You should give it a try!

I've been twice now specifically for happy hour, roughly two years apart and really love it! The service is always stellar and everyone is so friendly. The happy hour menu cant be beat! You can get a specialty cocktail that changes regularly or a flight of 3 Copper Vine wines (white, rose, and red; all on tap) for $8! There is also a rotating selection of small plates available under $10. The space is beautiful, minimalist with complementary colors and the blue they chose had to be the pantone color of the year at one point, it's stunning! As a homeowner with 5 kinds of invasive ivy on my property I HATE ivy but the strategically placed vines adorning the bar add just the right touch. The patio is also covered in beautiful plants which provide diners with privacy from busy Poydras. On this visit I had the smoked white fish, which was not smoky enough for me at all and tasted basically like classic tuna; not bad just not as advertised imo. The brussel sprouts are a must have! I've ordered them both times I've visited. On my last visit I browsed the dinner menu so I think my next visit will include a full meal. 10/10 recommend!

While visiting New Orleans, my friend and I wanted to enjoy a few cocktails and appetizers . We decided to dine in the outdoor area of Copper Vine which is located in the business district. It's a really nice restaurant and bar with indoor and outdoor seating. The ambiance is very nice , service was excellent. I ordered a Rose Sangria and my friend ordered a Margarita. We shared a three meat charcuterie board, crawfish beignets and banana foster for a sweet treat . I really enjoyed my dining experience at Copper Vine .

I visited Cooper Vine on a Thursday evening with my friend, based on his recommendation. Immediately I noticed the atmosphere of this restaurant was cozy, upscale but still casual. The ambiance was gorgeous and the servers were attentive. We started with Brussel Sprouts and the Fig & Goat Cheese flatbread which was delicious. The Sprouts had a garlic aioli that made the Brussel sprouts fantastic. We then got Shrimp Risotto (pine nuts!) and the Roasted Duck. Both were delicious! My friend finished his food but I couldn't finished my risotto! It was sooooo rich but absolutely delicious. I could probably eat on it 3 different times. Anyways. Highly recommend Cooper Vine for the delicious food and drinks!

In NOLA for a few days while my husband attends a conference and we hit this place twice. Happy hour is fabulous and the drink and wine list is top notch. We also went for lunch and since it had been rainy and cool we sat inside both times but it wasn't overly loud. I am looking forward to sitting outside our next trip as it's so beautiful in the patio. The staff was friendly and service was great.
